A snorkel protects your engine by raising the air intake to ensure cooler, cleaner and dust free air into your engine assisting fuel economy and power, as well as extending the life of your air filter. This is especially effective when travelling behind other vehicles on dirt roads. Snorkels are also critical in water crossings preventing water ingress into your engine.
